It’s time to stretch out your sweat bands and tighten your laces. Ensure your racquet is restrung and find a doubles partner. Strathfield Sports will be hosting its Club Championships this weekend and it’s your chance to show you’re capable of your own little piece of Murray magic or Barty brilliance on court.
Open to all of SSC’s tennis members, our annual event is always a great weekend of fun and competition. We have events to cater for all age groups, men’s and women’s, singles and doubles (given there is enough participation) so sign up today to ensure you’ll be a part of the festivities.
Specifically, there will be Juniors: U/15 and U/18, boys and girls, singles and doubles. Open’s: Men’s and Ladies, singles and doubles. Veterans: (50 years and over) Men’s and Ladies, singles and doubles.
Competition will be held over Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th August from 9am – 4pm. Over 55’s and all Open Events will be held from 12:30pm on Sunday 4th.
Entry is only $5 per event with prizes on offer giving you the chance to win up to a $100 gift voucher for our Inner West Tennis Academy Pro Shop.
